Despite the foot of snow we received yesterday, the Freeport Flag ladies again take their weekly Tuesday trip to "the hill" in Freeport to wave their flags in support of their country and their troops.  They send a weekly inspiration by email every week just before they head out, I thought today as we shovel out from the storm we could pull from their faithful dedication and strong beliefs.

I can't believe it's the holiday season already!! Anyone want to share their favorite part of this time of year?

It's that time of year.... as the leaves start to turn I know I'm not the ONLY one snapping pictures.  Here's the place to share them, MYFOXMAINE!   Send your pictures along and once we gather a few I'll post a gallery of pictures.

Maybe it's because I'm "from away" but I am really not getting the weather lately.  When I leave for work, albeit early, it's around 45-50 degrees... and has only been warming up to the 70s lately!

I've just double-checked my calendar, and it is still August.  I know early September is just a few short days away but I didn't expect fall to sneak up on me so soon!! I'm really not ready to pull out those snow shovels yet! 

Anyone else feel as though fall is sneaking up a little early?

Can anyoen suggest any dog-friendly beaches in the Midcoast area?  I'd love to show my dog the ocean, but don't want to break any laws doing it!  Thanks!
